A painter, draughtsman, lithographer and poster artist, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864–1901) left an indelible mark on his era through his original and profoundly innovative works. Presenting the artist and the themes explored in his work, this lecture offers a broader and more comprehensive view of his art, which is not limited to the Montmartre bohemian scene of the fin de siècle but explores many other subjects.
